My name is Areeba, and writing this is one of the hardest things I have ever done. I never imagined I would have to ask strangers for help to continue my education, but today I have reached a point where I cannot move forward without kindness and support.

Since I was a child, I have believed that education is the only path to a better future. My family has always faced financial challenges, but they never stopped encouraging me to study. Even completing my 12th grade was a difficult journey. There were many sacrifices, worries, and moments when I thought I might have to give up. By the grace of Allah, I worked hard and graduated from high school with great numbers.

When I was accepted into the University of the People to study Computer Science, I felt like my dream was finally coming true. For the first time, I believed that all my hard work had been worth it.

Then I discovered that although the university is tuition-free, students must pay assessment fees for every course. The total cost of completing my degree is over $7,000—an amount my family simply cannot afford.

I currently live in Saudi Arabia with my family and am completely financially dependent on my parents. They have always done everything they could for me, but paying thousands of dollars for my education is beyond our means. It breaks my heart to know that after working so hard for so many years, my education could stop—not because I lack determination or ability, but simply because I cannot afford the fees.

I am not asking for luxury or comfort. I am only asking for a chance. A chance to learn, to build a career, and to create a future where I can support my family instead of being a burden on them. My dream is to become a software professional, achieve financial independence, and one day help other students who are struggling just like I am today.
