My name is Kerlos, a single young man from Egypt, and I am going through a very difficult time. I recently lost my job due to psychological stress and a major financial setback, making it extremely hard to secure a safe and stable place to live. Being single makes it even harder, as many landlords are reluctant to rent to young men living alone, which has greatly limited my options.

I live alone with my cat, who is my only companion. I am not a very social person and don’t have much of a network to rely on for support, which makes this situation even more challenging.

I am now raising funds to cover the down payment for a small, safe apartment where I can begin an independent life and rebuild my stability. Without this support, I would have to live in an unsafe place or pay rent that is far beyond my means.

👉 My fundraising goal is $8,000 USD (approximately 400,000 EGP). Although the campaign amount appears in Egyptian Pounds on the platform, the actual need is a modest and clear amount in US Dollars.
