My family and I are seeking experienced legal representation after months of escalating harassment, threats, privacy violations, protective order concerns, and related legal proceedings across multiple states.

We hope to retain attorney Mark Bederow, subject to a formal representation agreement, to advocate for us as victims, communicate with law enforcement, monitor ongoing cases, protect our legal rights, and evaluate possible civil claims or counterclaims.

Why We Need Help

What began as online harassment has developed into serious safety and legal concerns involving police reports, protective orders, court proceedings, unwanted contact, alleged privacy violations, and a large amount of digital evidence.

These matters involve several individuals and multiple states. We have reached the point where managing everything without experienced legal counsel is no longer realistic.

We are raising funds to retain an attorney who can:

• Advocate for us as victims

• Communicate with police, prosecutors, investigators, and victim advocates

• Monitor ongoing criminal and civil proceedings

• Review suspected violations of protective orders or no contact orders

• Organize and preserve messages, emails, recordings, social media posts, reports, and other evidence

• Determine whether evidence connects individuals to ongoing or coordinated harassment

• Send formal legal correspondence regarding potentially unlawful conduct

• Defend us against lawsuits or legal threats

• Evaluate appropriate civil claims or counterclaims

• Seek injunctions, damages, or other lawful remedies when supported by the evidence

This is not a criminal defense fundraiser. We are seeking representation as alleged victims of harassment and related conduct while also preparing to defend ourselves against litigation.

The Attorney We Hope to Retain

We believe Mark Bederow is the best attorney to help us navigate these complicated and overlapping matters.

Mark is an experienced trial attorney and former Manhattan prosecutor who has handled complex investigations, contested legal proceedings, high profile cases, and matters involving extensive evidence and public attention.

He is now admitted to practice law in Arizona, where many of the incidents, investigations, protective order concerns, and related legal matters are located.

We believe his experience evaluating evidence, communicating with law enforcement, identifying inconsistencies, and handling complex litigation makes him especially suited for this situation.

Subject to his agreement to represent us, our goal is to retain Mark to coordinate these matters and develop a comprehensive legal strategy.

Whenever possible, we intend for the portion allocated to attorney fees to be paid directly to Mark or his law firm. No attorney client relationship should be assumed unless and until a formal representation agreement has been completed.

Matters Requiring Legal Assistance

One area of representation would involve monitoring the Phoenix Police investigation concerning alleged conduct involving Amanda.

Counsel could communicate with investigators and victim advocates, help organize and submit relevant evidence, follow the status of the investigation, and advocate for appropriate action based on the facts.

Counsel may also evaluate whether there is a factual and legal basis to connect specific individuals to the broader pattern of ongoing harassment.

When appropriate, the attorney may send formal correspondence advising that continued unlawful conduct could result in criminal referrals, civil claims, injunctions, damages, or other legal consequences.

A private attorney cannot order an arrest or control whether charges are filed. Those decisions belong to law enforcement and prosecutors. An attorney can, however, advocate for victims, communicate with the agencies involved, organize evidence, follow up on investigations, and help ensure important information does not fall through the cracks.

How the Funds Will Be Used

Approximately 83% of all funds raised will be dedicated to retaining legal counsel and paying attorney fees.

The remaining 17% will be reserved for process serving and other necessary legal expenses, including:

• Process server fees

• Additional service attempts

• Court filing fees

• Records requests

• Document preparation

• Evidence preservation

• Certified court records

• Subpoenas when legally appropriate

• Investigative services authorized by counsel

• Other lawful actions needed to move these matters forward

The funds are not being raised for personal purchases or unrelated expenses.

If the campaign exceeds the immediate expenses described above, any remaining funds will continue to be used only for related attorney fees, litigation costs, protective order matters, civil claims, counterclaims, or other legal actions recommended by counsel.

Why We Are Asking for Support

We have tried to address these matters through the proper channels.

Reports have been filed. Evidence has been preserved. Protective relief has been sought and obtained where appropriate. We have cooperated with law enforcement and continued documenting new developments.

Unfortunately, protecting yourself through the legal system is expensive. Responding responsibly requires attorneys, court filings, process servers, evidence preservation, research, and professional advocacy.
