On June 6th, 2026 Ryder King had a terrible drowning accident. What started as a wonderful day visiting his Grandparents for some good pool time and grilling out turned into a parent’s worst nightmare. After a short time being in the pool, Ryder jumped back in and just seconds later was found unresponsive. His mother and father pulled him from the pool and administered CPR for about 15 minutes until EMS arrived. Once EMS arrived Ryder had a pulse and was breathing on his own, but was still unconscious. Ryder was taken by Life Flight to Erlanger Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. He is currently stable and on an oscillating ventilator to supply him with oxygen until he can be weaned off to a certain level and be put on a conventional ventilator. Ryder is currently sedated until he recovers from the fluids in his lungs. We are a praying family, so if you can’t give, help Ryder with any prayers you can send. Thank you and God Bless!
