My brother, Quentin, recently underwent emergency spinal surgery after being diagnosed with Cauda Equina Syndrome—a serious and life-altering condition. What began as severe back pain quickly turned into a medical emergency, currently leaving him with entire left leg, bowel and bladder paralysis.

Quentin now faces a long and uncertain road to recovery. His daily life will be drastically changed, and he will need ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and specialized equipment to help him regain independence and reduce the risk of further injury. There is also a very real possibility of permanent paralysis.
