Help Our Family Through the Hardest Time We’ve Faced

Hi, my name is Summer, and writing this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.

Our family is going through an overwhelming financial crisis, and after exhausting every option we have, I’m humbly asking for help.

Over the last few years, we have struggled constantly with unreliable vehicles and heartbreaking setbacks. We’ve been ripped off on vehicles we trusted would help us get back on our feet, only to end up facing one major repair after another. The vehicle we have now is breaking down constantly, unsafe to drive, and becoming impossible to keep up with financially — but it is also our only way to get to work, appointments, and care for our children and family.

At the same time, my husband has been carrying an incredible emotional and financial burden while helping care for his father, who is battling cancer and recovering in a recovery home. He has used up all of his PTO, savings, and personal resources trying to be there for his dad. Every time he has to travel to help him, we lose income we desperately need just to survive.

I also struggle with my own health, which makes it difficult for me to consistently work full-time, even though I try my best to contribute however I can. Between medical struggles, caring for our family, and trying to keep everything together, we have reached a point where we simply cannot catch up on our own anymore. We are emotionally and financially exhausted, and are trying to prevent our family from falling even deeper into crisis
