Help My Husband Get Heart Surgery

My husband had a heart attack. Because we don't have health insurance, the hospital would not perform the heart surgery he needed. We applied to several hospitals and grants for financial aid, but were not accepted by any of them.

My husband works construction. His boss wouldn't allow him paid leave or a switch to a different department, so he was forced to return to work without having the procedure he needed, which is incredibly unsafe.

We've found a pro bono surgeon who will perform the heart surgery. But we still have to pay for the hospital overnight stays and my husband will need to take 4 months off work to recover safely.
