My name is Mudenda, a determined and passionate student from Zambia, currently studying Biomedical Sciences at Rusangu University.

My journey through education has been anything but easy. I was once enrolled at another university but was forced to drop out due to financial hardship — not because I lacked the ability or the will, but simply because I could not afford to continue.

I refused to give up.

I found a way back and enrolled at Rusangu University, holding onto my dream of becoming a biomedical sciences graduate. However, the financial struggle has followed me. I am supposed to be in my 4th year right now, but due to continuous financial challenges, I am still in my 2nd year — watching my peers move forward while I remain stuck, not because of lack of effort, but because of lack of funds.

Every semester is a battle. Every registration period brings anxiety. Every time fees are due, I wonder if this will be the semester that ends my dream for good.

Biomedical Sciences is not just a course to me — it is my calling. I want to contribute to healthcare, save lives, and serve my community in Zambia and beyond. But I cannot do it without your help.
