Help Me Give My Children a Fresh Start

I never thought I would be making a fundraiser like this.

My name is Jadore I am 24 and I am a mother of two children who mean absolutely everything to me. For years, it feels like life has been one battle after another, and I have done everything I can to keep pushing forward for them.

We have experienced homelessness and the fear that comes with not knowing what tomorrow will look like. I worked hard to get us back on our feet and create stability for my children because they deserve a safe and happy childhood.

At the same time, I have been dealing with a serious leg injury that has affected my life in more ways than I can explain. Even on the days when I was struggling physically, I kept going because my children needed me.

One of the hardest losses we have ever faced was the passing of my children's father. That loss changed our lives forever. Watching my children navigate that grief while trying to stay strong for them has been one of the most painful experiences of my life.

Recently, I suffered a head injury that required staples. It happened on my birthday, and it became another moment that forced me to stop and realize how much I have been carrying for so long.

The truth is that I am exhausted.

I am exhausted from constantly surviving.

I am exhausted from trying to hold everything together while facing one crisis after another.

Most of all, I am exhausted from feeling like my children and I can never truly get a chance to breathe and heal.

After everything that has happened, I have made the difficult decision that we need a fresh start. I want to relocate somewhere that feels safer, healthier, and more peaceful for my children and me. I want a chance to build a life where we are not constantly looking over our shoulders or recovering from the next hardship.

The funds raised will help us with moving expenses, housing costs, transportation, and the basic necessities we need to start over.

Asking for help is not easy for me. I have always tried to figure things out on my own. But right now, I am reaching out because I want something better for my children, and I know I cannot do it completely alone.
