Hi! My name is Kassie and I'm 43 years old. I've never had luck with fundraising before, but I'm praying I do now. I am a single mom with a just graduated teen son and 3 kitties who loves God and people have 3 jobs that I am working, 1 full-time, 2 part-time to try to make ends meet and I am still falling short.

My body is breaking down more and more the older I get yet, I can't stop working as hard as I do if I want to be able to pay my bills and support my family. I've had a knee replacement, need the other one done, need my hips looked at, both rotator cuffs have been repaired, back surgery, hand surgery and two hernias one repaired, one needing repair, and I'm physically becoming more and more beat down by the 80 hour weeks and 16 hour days. I've thought seriously about quitting my jobs and going on every kind of assistance known to man, but I worked hard to get off any assistance and don't want to depend on anyone but me. My long term goal is to get my CDL and become a truck driver. This is where I need help. I work most days from 8am-12am (midnight) with at least 2 of my jobs so by the time I get home I'm exhausted 😩 and don't have time to eat (right) let alone spend a couple hours studying so I pass my CDL permit test. I don't make enough money to take time off, as it is, I'm already running the risk of losing my car and luckily my apt works with me on rent, to a point, just to name a couple and I don't have any family around that will help, and my friends just can't. I am hoping to raise enough money to get me ahead a month or so, so I can take some time off a job or 2 to rest my broken body and get my permit so I can become a CDL truck driver, preferably tanker endorsements and/or hazmat endorsements make better money to support myself and my family. I've always wanted to be a trucker, and now is my opportunity, with a little help.

So I pray, " Dear Lord, help me be strong and continue to fight and work hard and never give up. Help me support myself and my son. Help some people that are reading this, find it in their hearts to lend a hand and help me take some time off to get my CDL so I can provide a better life for my son and myself with less wear and tear on my already broken body. I get so disheartened, when I see people abusing the system for all of the assistance they can get, perfectly able to work, just not willing. And then there's people like me, who can't get insurance, because I make too much money can't get private insurance because I have pre-existing conditions, and multiple issues that need addressed. I make too much money for food assistance, but not enough to buy food and so I live on leftovers from 2 of my jobs, and my medical concerns, go UN heard because I can't afford out-of-pocket costs. I need to change my career, so I don't work myself into an early grave and I want to live to see any potential grandchildren I might have one day. I want to be able to retire and enjoy my life in 20 years, and right now I can't, and I find it harder and harder to keep going keep taking it on the chin, and to not give up. This is not a request for a handout but a hand up to make the quality of my family's life better, bettering myself and changing careers to something that I love. Something that isn't as demanding
