Please join me in supporting my father, a man who has spent his life fighting for everyone else.

​My name is Reanna and I am writing this to ask for your support for the most important person in my life: my dad.

​If you know my father, you know he is a man of incredible spirit. He is the person who shows up for everyone, always with a positive attitude that lights up a room.

Recently, our family experienced a beautiful, long-awaited milestone—my dad was reunited with one of my brothers after 27 years. Seeing them on the golf course together, sharing laughter and time that was stolen from them for so long, was a dream come true.

​But now, our hearts are heavy. My dad has been diagnosed with cancer in his right eye. This is just the latest, most urgent challenge in a lifelong battle for his health.

​My dad is, by all accounts, a living miracle. For over 30 years, he has managed Type 2 diabetes. For 25 years, he has fought Stage 4 kidney disease, showing incredible discipline by managing his own dialysis at home. His history of survival is nothing short of miraculous: he has survived two heart attacks, a cardiac event where he was without oxygen for nearly six minutes, and a complex mitral valve replacement where he was brought back after being declared dead on the operating table five different times. He has even survived COVID-19 twice.

As his daughter, I have watched him defy the odds over and over again. I want nothing more than to help him focus on this next fight without the crushing weight of financial stress. The cost of oncology treatments, specialized care, and the travel required for his appointments is mounting, and it is taking away the time he should be spending with his family—time he fought so hard to have.

​I am doing everything in my power to help him, but I cannot do this alone. We are starting this fundraiser to cover the costs of his medical care and the day-to-day expenses that make it harder for him to heal.
