I know this is strange i will be the first to say I'd never thought i would be asking for funds on a fundraiser but I pray there are still people out there that are still willing to help others that are in need. My name is Fernando I'm 40 years old and I guess I'll start by saying the reason I'm here is because I'm in a financial crisis. I live in a small town in Florida called sorrento and Around 4 months ago i got let from my job i didn't think it was justified i was there 8 months and I'd never received a disciplinary notice and i was usually always on time. But it happened i was let go all of a sudden all i could do was walk away and have the faith that God will make a way for me to make matters even worse i lost my car in the process i got hit by a drunk driver so i had to total it.. i did get a small bit of money for the value of the car about 2 grand but that's gone and now I'm stuck without a car and no job and am running out of food i applied for government food assistance but they asked for letters and alot of documents i couldn't provide so I didn't know what to do and i got denied for 4 months... The only reason i have food right now is because my sister sent me 50 bucks and I'm making that last as long as i can I'm only eating one meal a day sometimes i don't my roommates are all moving out next Monday so that leaves only me to bare the weight of all the finances by myself sense I'm going to be completely alone.. so to paint the picture I'm broke about to be alone possibly homeless in the future my sister's are in Arizona my mom's here in Florida but lives 89 miles away and she never has anything for me I'm living in a small town with no bus route i bought a bike and the tire went flat after I bought it so i can go to interviews and jobs I put another tube in it and then it went flat again on my way to a job interview the next day come to find out there's something wrong with the rim so there goes the money for that I can't find work even day labor it's always too far and sense I'm in a more remote area and I'm on foot there no way i can walk 10 miles to a job site especially in the summer heat it's just been one bad situation after another but my faith has kept me going this far I've cried more tears then i can count to God I've been humbled in more ways then one. I asked one of my roommates for a ride to Walmart which is 8 miles away and he just shrugged his shoulders and kept walking it's not right but that's how it is for the people of God that's how we are treated we are the most neglected out of everyone so I knew i couldn't ask him for anything because he doesn't care about me. I can say soo much more but I'm not trying to seem like I'm having a pitty party for myself I'm just trying to explain the situation in its context. So I'll close with this if anyone can please donate i need $800 atleast just to keep this roof above my head.. anything will be greatly appreciated God bless and never give up the faith. You never know what will happen in life but one things for curtain everything will be okay at some point.
