Help Bryson Through the Hardest Chapter of Life

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. — Romans 8:1 🙏

To those who know and love Bryson, we are asking for your help during the most difficult season of his life.

Most of you already know what happened. What began as Bryson trying to help someone became an altercation that escalated quickly, and in the middle of it, he stabbed another man. The man survived, and we are grateful for that every day. Bryson has never denied his part in what happened. He was 19 years old, had never been in trouble before, and is deeply remorseful for the harm he caused.

We are not asking anyone to excuse what happened. We are simply asking for help so that Bryson can receive a fair defense and a fair opportunity to move forward with his life.

Bryson’s family and friends are raising $15,000 to help cover the cost of his legal defense. His family is small, and they cannot carry this burden alone. Every gift, regardless of size, will go directly toward securing the representation he needs as his case moves forward.

Anyone who knows Bryson knows that his character is defined not by this moment, but by a lifetime of caring for others.

He helps care for his autistic sister and has always been the person looking for someone who needs a hand.

  1. During a lunch break at work, he spent his entire break helping two women with Down syndrome work through a problem they were having, never expecting recognition or thanks.

  1. While volunteering at a summer camp for underprivileged children, he noticed a young girl sitting on the sidelines because she was caring for her younger brother with autism. Understanding exactly what that responsibility felt like, Bryson stepped in so she could simply enjoy being a kid for a while.

  1. With his first paycheck, he didn’t buy something for himself. Instead, he bought jumper cables so he could help stranded drivers. If he couldn’t fix the problem himself, he would stay with them until help arrived, even in the middle of the night.

He has also worked hard to overcome challenges of his own. Despite living with ADHD, he maintained honor-roll grades and dedicated himself to becoming healthier and stronger. His family often describes him as the peacemaker—the person who can calm a room, make people laugh, and bring people together.

That is the Bryson we know.

A note from a family friend:

“ Bryson has been an incredible friend to my son, Julian, who has faced significant challenges throughout his life. Through every difficult season, Bryson has shown patience, kindness, and loyalty that are rare at any age.

I’ve watched him support our family selflessly through some of our hardest moments. The Bryson I know is a young man of genuine character, and I am proud to stand beside him now.” — Joe, Julian’s dad

Thank you for standing with Bryson and his family during the lowest moment of his life. Thank you for believing, as we do, that a person’s worst day does not define the rest of their story.

All funds raised will go directly toward Bryson’s legal defense and will be managed by Jennifer, Bryson’s mother.

“To whom much is given, much is required.” - Luke 12:48 🙏
