It was early one morning when I received a message from my dear friend Hannah—one that no one ever wants to get. Grace, her sweet 15-year-old daughter, had been in the hospital after feeling dizzy. We’d been praying and hoping for good news. Then came the words that stopped me in my tracks:

“Good morning, Rachel, sweet sister… Grace’s labs showed that she has acute leukemia.”

Tears filled my eyes as I read those words aloud to my husband. Our little Gracey is sick—much sicker than we ever imagined.

Grace has been diagnosed with acute leukemia, a devastating blow for any family, but especially for Hannah, who already carries so much as a single mom. She works tirelessly to provide for her two amazing kids, Grace and Marco. Those who know her can tell you—Hannah is one of the strongest, most faithful women you could ever meet. She’s spent her life teaching her children to love God and others, even when life throws them challenge after challenge.

Now, as Grace begins this fight for her life, Hannah faces an even heavier burden. Between hospital stays, treatments, and caring for both Grace and Marco, she will be unable to work consistently. The daily expenses and bills will quickly pile up, and we want to make sure that finances are the last thing Hannah has to worry about.

That’s why we created this campaign—to give Hannah one less thing to carry so she can focus fully on what matters most: Healing Grace.

Hannah’s faith through this has been incredible. She recently wrote:

“We need the Lord to lead through His powerful peace. I’ve seen Him through it all already. We’re asking for more peace! We’re trusting fully in God’s great grace.”

Her humility and strength inspire everyone around her. And as she and Grace walk this hard road, we want to remind them that they’re not walking it alone.
