I need help getting a lawyer to get my grandkids. My son got with a girl while he was fighting for his 2 kids. He won custody, but since she has been in their lives there has been nothing but issues. He now has a child with her, even though she told all of us she could not have another child. (She also has a child thar her mother has custody of already.) Unfortunately during court he added her onto the paperwork so she could take them to doctors appointments and do school stuff while he worked. We have all come to realize how manipulative she is and he asked for a divorce. Let me add the last time he tried she ended up pregnant again after telling us all she was on birth control. He is willing to support his kids, but she is now trying her hardest to get him sent to jail and take his kids from all of us. I have been in their life all of their lives, even before she ever came around. She is now keeping the kids from me. I am in no way saying my son has never done any wrong and for a while I took her side on everything. Until October of last year I worked many hours and took her word for what was happening. Since then I have seen how she will push him and use the kids and the law to get her way. She knows as long as she has my grandkids I will not evict her. There has been several CPS cases opened since she has been with him. (He did marry her while going through court for his first 2 kids, I may have left that out.) Their biggest arguments were about her keeping a clean house, bathing, feeding and getting up with the kids while he worked. If he said anything she would blow up. If he tried to walk away or leave she would go off which would eventually make him do the same. She has now told the courts he is a danger to the kids. But refuses to tell them how she is, I have confronted her about bruises his 2 kids have told me shes put on them within the last 3 weeks. Now that I am not strictly on her side she has refused to let me see them. Again I say this with everything I am, I am NOT taking up for my son. I am however refusing to let her use them for leverage against both of us. He has even said if needed he would sign them over to me. She does not want the babies, instead she is using them and I want them out of the situation. She is focused purely on using her 2 stepkids. Please help me get my grandbabies. In 2 years she has made all of our lives miserable. I feel so bad that I was blinded and could not see what was going on. She has used the law, the courts and anything she can to get her way. Please help me. I am sorry if I have repeated myself this is just hard to put into words.
