🌟 **Our Family's Fight to Stay Together** 🌟

I never thought I’d be in a position where my daughter would ask me for help, but here we are. It all started when our daughter needed legal support—and suddenly, the burden landed on us. Our family has always been about love and protection; taking care of each other is what we do best. Our daughther and our four grandchildren were discarded and after almost two years of being ignored her ex decided he wanted custody of the children and turned his fortunes to his lawyers. This began another two year legal battle. With motion after motion with ever increasing cost.

But it wasn’t just legal fees that hit us hard. We had to relocate them twice due to her ex-partner's actions, all while trying to find stability in a high-cost area. This included temporary housing, furniture for their new homes—even the smallest things like beds and kitchen appliances because they needed these as they were kept in the home they were expelled from even tho they were surplus items and were being stored out in the garage.

This has been both an emotional and financial rollercoaster, especially considering my wife’s disabilities from her time serving in the USAF and my own. We were prepared to support them with what we had saved over the years... until now. The legal battles have taken a toll on our finances—our retirement savings, home equity are almost depleted.

But let me tell you about something beautiful: Our granddaughter wrote us an emotional note saying how they miss their mom and that sometimes she feels scared because "it’s hard to see her feeling sad." It broke my heart to read those words, but it also filled me with resolve—we will fight for them. For all the times when we were there for our kids, now we need you by ours.
