Apartment Approved, Beauty School Bound: Help a Mom Build a New Beginning

Hello everyone,

My name is Tasia, and I am a mother of four children who is working hard to create a stable future for my family. I never imagined I would need to ask for help in this way, but I am reaching out with hope and gratitude as we stand on the edge of a fresh start.

Over the past year, my family has faced significant challenges. I moved to San Antonio believing there would be housing assistance available to help us get back on our feet. Unfortunately, after applying for rehousing assistance, I learned that the program is not servicing the area where I am staying. Despite applying for resources, attending interviews, and doing everything I could to provide for my family, we are still facing housing instability and uncertainty.

Despite it all, I am excited to share some good news.

I have officially been approved for an apartment, and I have enrolled in Ogle Beauty School to begin training for a career that will allow me to support my family long-term. I start classes on June 15th, and I am hoping to move into our new apartment during that same week.

For the first time in a long time, I can see a path forward.

While these opportunities are incredible blessings, I still need help covering the costs of this transition. My fundraising goal is $3,500, which will help with:

• Security deposit and move-in expenses

• Utility deposits and connection fees

• Transportation costs

• Basic household necessities for our new home

I am not looking for a handout. I am working toward a better future for my children and taking active steps to become self-sufficient. Beauty school is an investment in a career that will provide stability, independence, and opportunity for my family.

Through every hardship, God has shown me His mercy. My children are healthy. I am healthy. We have not lost hope. Even in difficult seasons, God has continued to open doors, and this apartment approval and school enrollment are proof that He is still making a way.
