🌟 **From Heartache to Hope** 🌠
I remember the day like it was yesterday. The weight of disappointment hit me as I stood in front of my tiny, makeshift home—a cozy yet cramped 12x22 shed with no room for anything more than a bed and a few essentials. My heart ached because every inch of this land I had chosen so carefully represented freedom that was slipping through my fingers.
I've worked hard all my life; But health challenges changed the script—i have diabetes, peripheral artery disease, alpha gal, kidney disease and beginning stages of congestive heart failure. My disability check is a 1/4 of what I used to make, barely enough to cover basic needs. Despite this, I found solace in owning land and creating something that felt like home.
But life has its own cruel sense of humor. Just as I was making progress, my car's transmission gave out. I became stranded—literally unable to move from place to place, let alone fetch water for daily needs. My heart sank into a deep well of despair because every task around the property now felt like an insurmountable challenge.
I live in a shed with bucket for a bathroom and no immediate plans for modern comforts. It's not just about wanting; it’s about surviving—a fight to keep dignity intact while managing limited mobility and dwindling resources, all on 1/4 of what I once earned. Yet every day spent here is filled with the hope that maybe tomorrow will bring a better solution.
But you know what? No one should live like this. Especially not someone who’s devoted their entire I’m life to being productive and self-sufficient. That's why today, I am reaching out—not just for me but for anyone else who believes everyone deserves dignity in their final resting place.
I need your help. The goal is simple: to pay off my property debts, purchase a reliable vehicle (my lifeline), and invest in essential farm equipment like a tractor—a well so I don’t have to fetch water and a septic system so I can take a proper shower and use a real toilet. These items would make maintaining this land possible with minimal strain on my body. I want more than anything to transform the shed into something spacious enough for daily living comforts while leaving space around me for growth and beauty.
I've always believed in community support, resilience against life’s blows, and rebuilding after setbacks—lessons from surviving a hard-knock existence but never losing faith that tomorrow holds better days ahead. So I ask you today: If you believe in second chances at life just as much as the next sunrise, please contribute to this cause close to my heart. Let's turn despair into determination together! It’s so hard to get funded unless you have a terminal illness, large family and friends group, or funeral expenses. I don’t have any of those things. I’m asking for your help please to make my life bare able and easier. To help take away the pain, discomfort, challenges I suffer. I need help now while I’m still living. I need the ability to take proper care of myself. To not put so much strain on my legs and heart. To be able to have proper living conditions so I don’t keep getting infections and I can have sanitary personaI hygiene. have worked hard my whole life. Never took a free ride. Please find it in your heart to help. Anything helps even if you only have a dollar. $1 to help make someone’s life better.
