I am Ninfa Gianfala Caruso, and I am a singer, composer and voice teacher. I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and lived on Magazine Street. I got my Master’s Degree from Louisiana State University and went to Juilliard. During my time at Juilliard, I won the Metropolitan Opera Auditions and started writing music.

Some years later, my first composition was called “Miss Liberty, Miss Liberty”, which was written for the Statue of Liberty Celebration in New York City. I received a commendation from President Ronald Reagan for my original composition, and I sang it for the Celebration in New York City.

In Louisiana, I was commissioned by the Governor’s Committee to write the song to celebrate Louisiana’s Statehood. The song is called “Louisiana”, and I sang it with the Baton Rouge Symphony and at the State Capitol.

I have composed all types of music, and now a full Broadway type musical.

Because of heartaches and hardships in the last 10 years, I have not been able to present the musical that I wrote called "Malachi, A Christmas Miracle" to theaters for possible production. But I now have an opportunity to have it produced at a couple of wonderful venues at Christmastime.

As with all brand new shows/premiere productions to be produced at any theater anywhere in the country, the composer has to join with the theater to assist in providing funding for all production costs. The goal for "Malachi, A Christmas Miracle" is $50,000 plus, since it has a large cast and is a full scale musical production.

I am asking for your help in donating to see my musical produced. Through the hardships, I never lost faith that someday my labor of love would come to life on the stage!!!
