My brother John Engell had been in an ATV accident over the weekend. His injuries were severe: broken clavicle, three broken ribs, two fractured ribs, and a punctured, partly collapsed lung.

John was taken by ambulance to Stormont Vail Hospital where he had numerous tests and scans.

He will be having sugery on Friday. Two metal plates and pens will be placed in his shoulder. He will need to have a chest tube inserted in his lung (if it doesn't reinflate on its own soon). The road to recovery will be long: at least one week of hospital stay and 12 weeks with no lifting or physical labor. Since his job is physically demanding he will be unable to go back to work until he is fully recovered.

On top of all this, his family of 7, is set to move in 2 weeks to a new home due to losing their current living situation.
