As some of you already know, my brother Shaun Waltz had a massive heart attack on Friday February 6th, 2026 in the afternoon. He was at work and luckily a co-worker noticed him and called an ambulance quickly and that is how this page came to fruition. We are utilizing this page to give everyone updates as we are learning them. This is going to be a long process so please be patient if there is not daily updates as there are going to be quite a few days (especially in the beginning) that there are no changes so some days updates may not be given. We appreciate all of the love and support we have been receiving the last couple of days. Prayers are very much appreciated as Shaun is definitely in His hands right now. Please continue to show support and check in with questions, but also please understand that Cliff (Dad) and Kathy (Mom) are also feeling a lot of pressure and may need some time to process this very heavy situation, so they may not be able to answer every call or text right away. I will try to update as much as possible so it can help answer questions. Again, we cannot thank everyone enough for all of the love and support as we navigate these very rough waters.

Almost everyone who knows Shaun knows that he is a simple man but he has a heart of gold. He is very much the type that will give you the shirt off of his back and help you to your feet. He has always been a hard worker, sometime working multiple jobs, just to keep himself busy. Shaun is one of the best listeners and will give you the most heartfelt, honest feedback. He is constantly helping our parents with a variety of tasks from the annual Christmas cookie baking to helping set up snow fence at our Grandma's place. He always puts others first no matter what and he's always lived life to the fullest. Shaun always has a can do attitude that is infectious and he thrives on helping others laugh. He has been one of the best travel buddies and he makes every place magical (even if its just a rest stop). We are hoping and praying that we will all be able to be a part of his adventure again in the future.
