In December of 2023, I was shot four times and watched someone I love killed in cold blood.

In December of 2024, I was deposed and cross examined while the man who tried to kill me sat in front of me in the room. I was made to feel ashamed for being on antidepressants and other medications for severe PTSD and Major Depressive Disorder during cross examination.

In December of 2025, a hearing was scheduled regarding the use of a government subpoena, going after my personal communications with a news station.

I’ve been treated more like a perpetrator rather than a crime victim during this whole egregious process. I’m entering the third year of fighting. I lost everything when I was shot. I desperately need a civil rights attorney because I’m in for the second biggest fight of my life. The four gunshots were far easier to survive than the aftermath the broken justice system has put me through. I’m exhausted of being constantly scared of what could possibly be done to me next.
