Hi my name is Hannah, I am 29 yrs old and am currently living in an apartment by myself. I was let go of my job in August and I just got hired onto a job as a direct care worker at the end of November. Now I'm just waiting on matching with a client so I can starting working, while searching for another job. I also lost my medical insurance in August which allowed me to have therapy sessions. Therapy is important to me for it helps me with navigating through my emotions and unhealed traumas. I do pray and believe that God will open that door at the right time.

Thankfully God provided a way to get some work done on my car. I'm not sure what else needs done to it but I do know the wheel constantly jerks to the left and right and theres a burnt smell coming from the car. The crazy thing is I've been applying to jobs that I'm more than qualified to get, going to interviews, getting all the certificates, drug test, notarized letters completed and yet there's a delay in starting work hahaha. It's been a journey but I know delay is not denial and there's a reason for why God has lead me into this current season. I do believe God turns everything for good, and I know something good has to come from this situation. What I am learning in this season is that my efforts alone won't get me far. To stop relying on my own abilities and to depend on God to provide. To surrender trying to control things and thriving through my own performance. And in doing so, there is space made for God's grace to show up. I started going back to church in November of 2023 so I still got a lot to learn about trusting God and knowing who he really is. I did graduate from my Step Study in Celebrate Recovery in December of 2024. Which praise goes to God for there's no way I would have made it out of that valley without him! Overall I'm thankful to be alive and to know God, these storms are unpleasant to say the least but I get to learn more about God and Jesus through them.
