On November 13, Dale & Desi Haskins experienced a garage fire that resulted in a total loss. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but the damage is extensive. The garage and everything inside were mostly destroyed, and the estimated cost to rebuild is around $50,000.

This garage wasn’t just storage; it was the workspace for Dale’s construction business. As a self-employed family, Dale & Desi rely on this space to earn a living. Losing it means losing the ability to work efficiently and sustain a living until it is rebuilt.

We praise God that some of the contents of the building will be covered under the insurance policies that they have in place! Unfortunately, homeowner's and business insurances did not work in conjunction with one another and because the garage was used for business purposes, the building itself, as well as other tools and materials, will not be covered under either policy. This is a difficult reality, but I, along with Dale & Desi, am determined to help restore what was lost.
