EDIT EDIT: I fell ill in March and have been out of work. Two emergency surgeries, a lot of healing, rehabilitation, and another surgery in the near future. Other than that, things are still the same.

EDIT: Since I first started this campaign, a few things have happened. We were snowed out of our safe place. We lost two of our cats 😔 my sister invited us to stay with her for the winter but, she lives in a small complex and the landlord said we aren't welcome to stay there. So, we are living out of our car now on public street parking. I still have a job, it just isn't enough to get into a place and stay. I called 211 for information on housing for the homeless and, all I was offered was affordable housing that I can't afford... I don't want to beg at all... But if anyone could help... I wouldn't even know how to thank you. But I would find a way. Thank you for reading.

Hello and thank you for stopping by my page! As many are, my family is experiencing hardship. I'm a hard working single mother of two and I take care of my mother as well who is disabled. I have a full time job but, it's not enough in this economy. We are currently staying in a small camper on a piece of land I rent. The summer months were fine, as we are getting into the cold season it has been getting hard. It's cold!

I have looked into public assistance and there are so many people needing help. Wait-lists are years long. Homeless shelters are temporary and full. And we have a dog and 3 cats that I'm sure aren't welcome into most places.

My goal with this campaign is to receive enough donations to get into a better place, not a fancy place; a bit bigger trailer and a rental space that has full hookups. With my current job, unfortunately I just can't get ahead. We are so paycheck to paycheck that I've been borrowing against my next paychecks. I don't receive EBT and my schedule doesn't allow for me to utilize food banks. Life is tough right now! Thank you for reading, anything helps.
