Asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but today I don’t have much of a choice.

A short time ago, I unexpectedly lost my job. Since then, I’ve been doing everything I can to find work, apply for unemployment, and make ends meet. Despite my efforts, I’ve fallen behind, and now I’m facing the possibility of losing my car.

My car isn’t just transportation—it’s my independence, my opportunity, and my only reliable way to rebuild my life. Without it, getting to interviews, accepting job opportunities, running essential errands, or earning money through temporary work becomes incredibly difficult. Losing my car would make an already overwhelming situation even harder to overcome.

I’ve always tried to handle my problems on my own, and asking for help doesn’t come naturally to me. But sometimes life humbles you, and this is one of those moments.

I’m asking for help covering my car payment so I can keep the one thing that’s giving me a chance to get back on my feet. Every dollar brings me closer to keeping my vehicle and continuing my search for stable employment instead of falling even further behind.
