You call home every day to hear your children cry and beg you to come home, your fiance beside herself without your sole income struggling to feed your children. Two hearings later, the judge agrees to reduce your bond and allow you to return to Texas but with the requirement that you pay $450/month for house arrest monitoring. You lose your job because you’ve been replaced after being gone 5 weeks. Facing $75,000 in legal fees and bills you can no longer afford.
