🌟💔 I never imagined that life could take such unexpected turns, especially not at a pivotal moment like turning 40. Just five years ago, the doctor's words were chilling—"You have stage 4 colorectal cancer." It was as if someone had flipped a switch from calm to chaos in an instant.

🏡 My family and I faced this challenge head-on, battling through endless hospital visits, intense treatments like operations, chemo and radiation, and countless doctor's appointments. The cost of all these medical procedures has been overwhelming—more than we ever anticipated when the journey began. So much so that my son of now 19 cannot complete his studies.

As a mother to two incredible children,  a daughter age 12 and son of 19, I felt this tremendous responsibility not just to fight for my life but also to ensure they have every opportunity despite our circumstances. My husband is everything you can imagine in a provider: hardworking, loving, and dedicated. Yet, the cost of medical care has left us with unpaid bills that feel insurmountable.

We've tried traditional treatments like chemo and radiation after a full APR (Abdominoperineal Resection) and a partial liver removal after which the Doctors sent me home to die saying there is no further treatment they can undertake and I was left with the prognosis of stage 4 colorectal cancer with metastases liver, lung and coccyx. 

However, now we are focusing on holistic approaches to manage my health which are most definitely manifesting great improvements (I was supposed to be dead already!) These methods also incur expenses and a monthly requirement for very many items.
