My name is Ruth.

 This story is about my sister Darlene.

She is a wife, mother, pastor, and teacher, with a masters degree in mental health counseling.

Early in 2024, she was diagnosed with left axillary carcinoma, an aggressive form of breast cancer. This was discovered after they did a needle biopsy and subsequently removed the tumor. She went through immunotherapy which caused a severe reaction. Due to this reaction, radiation therapy was then performed since the cancer had spread to her clavicle, (collar bone,) which was for the most part successful. At this point, a new PET scan was performed and they discovered that the spot on her clavicle had healed and the bone was recalcifying. Throughout this time and up to the current time, she has been using holistic and time-tested medicines and treatments to try to slow the spread of the cancer elsewhere in her body. 

More recently, it was discovered that the cancer had spread to one of her legs above her left knee. On the day of the final radiation therapy , that bone broke. Due to the situation surrounding that event, she broke her right foot as well. She has since had surgery on that leg and her foot to install a rod in the leg, and plates and screws in the foot. 

The financial strain on her and her family has been extreme since she has been unable to take in an income in support of her family since early 2024. Medical bills are piling up to the tune of about $30,000 and causing more financial strain on the family.

I am trusting God for his Divine healing, but I need your prayers. Like Moses, I need my "brother Aaron and Hur to hold up my arms" as it were (Exo 17:12). If you feel led to donate financially, any donation would be greatly appreciated, and I will always covet your prayers.
