It all started with one simple unpaid ticket, a tiny blip on my radar during tough times. But life has this funny way of catching up to you when you least expect it – and before I knew it, my car was in need of major repairs, my license had been suspended for failing to pay that very same ticket...and then another ticket came along.

I'm a proud single mom just trying to provide stability for my two amazing kids and make ends meet while pursuing my dreams – but right now, I feel like the car is one step ahead of me in life! My poor ride has been stranded on the side of the road so many times that it feels less like wheels under pressure and more like a well-loved friend down on its luck.

My goal: $2,500 to repair my car so I can get back behind the wheel and continue providing for my family without feeling like our only option is rolling backwards into hardship. Every mile brings me closer to where we need to be – but right now, it feels like every inch forward takes a step back financially!

I've always been one of those "keep your head above water" types...but sometimes even that becomes an impossible task in the face of unexpected storms and roadblocks. And no matter how many times life knocks me down or throws red tape at my feet, I know deep inside there is a light waiting to be turned on again – all it takes are some helping hands willing to help us turn that key and ignite our path forward.
