Aloha and welcome to Solomon’s GiveSendGo campaign.

Solomon Robello, a close friend since high school, has been battling End Stage Liver disease for the past four years.  He was diagnosed during an ER visit for severe abdominal pain.  At that time the doctors said there was a chance Sol might not make it out of the hospital.  Sol is grateful to the grace of God and a great medical team for pulling him through.  Since then, Sol has endured over thirty surgical procedures to stop recurring internal bleeding, a frequent consequence of his condition.  Some of the challenges he faces are daily pain management, mobility issues, diet restrictions, and constant fatigue due to his condition.  

Because he is unable to maintain steady employment due to his condition the funds raised will go towards daily living expenses, post-op care while in recovery, and medical travel as needed.  It hasn’t been easy, but Sol is steadily reaching the benchmarks his doctors say he must meet to prepare for liver transplant surgery.  His doctors assure him that a donor will be found in the next 3-6 months and the surgery can be scheduled.  Post-op care arrangements are being prepared.

Sol has many things he wants to accomplish in his life.  He especially wants to see his two younger boys graduate from high school and all four of his sons grow into successful, honorable men.  Living alone now with his dog Gospel, Sol will be partnered with a care coordinator to assist him with basic needs at home and monitor his progress as he prepares for a successful transplant.  He is very reluctant to ask for help, but with his Social Security Disability being his only steady income it was necessary to seek assistance for upcoming needs.
