Gilles Carignan has always been the kind of man who shows up for others. A devoted husband, father of three daughters, and proud grandfather of eight, Gilles has spent his life giving generously to his family, his friends, and his community.

Three years ago, Gilles retired with a simple dream: to spend more time traveling and enjoying life with his wife, Claire Manon. They had worked hard for that season of life and were finally ready to embrace it together.

But shortly after retiring, everything changed.

Gilles was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in his throat and lymph nodes.

Since then, life has shifted from plans of travel and freedom to a daily fight for health and time together. Gilles is facing intensive treatments, both pharmaceutical and natural, in hopes of extending his life and maintaining his quality of life.
