It was just four months ago that my life took an unexpected turn. My boyfriend, who had been by my side for over a decade, fought so bravely against lung cancer until the very end of his journey here with us on April 22nd.

Just when we thought we were coming out of one crisis, another hit hard. We've been evicted from our home with nowhere to go, leaving both my boyfriend’s son and myself in a state of limbo without any security or stability.
