In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many families in our community found themselves overwhelmed by rising grocery prices and the soaring cost of everyday living. Moved by compassion and a deep desire to make a meaningful impact, I felt called to take action. After much prayer and thoughtful consideration, our church launched a heartfelt outreach initiative called Shoes 4 Kids.

Recognizing that the start of a new school year can be especially stressful for families facing financial hardship, we decided to provide practical support by giving $30 gift cards to help parents purchase new shoes for their children. Every dollar we raise comes from the generous hearts of our small but faithful congregation, and every card we give is a step toward easing the burden these families carry.

But Shoes 4 Kids is more than just a back-to-school effort—it’s a bridge to ongoing care. Through this outreach, we hope to build lasting relationships with struggling families and continue offering support, encouragement, and hope throughout the year.  Please consider helping us make a difference in our community.
