I’ve been in a federal lawsuit for nearly 2 years with Carilion Clinic. I am suing them for religious discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.  I was fired from my job after having a religious exemption approved by HR.  I was continually harassed to get a vaccination by management and my safety was jeopardized.  HR agreed with my complaint of safety violations and did take action to have it corrected, which is all documented.  OSHA has also been notified of this.

  I hired a lawyer for a 5k retainer, who was in bed with Carilion and tried to have me settle for 5k. I will be addressing this attorney separately for a refund of most of my retainer. I relieved him of representing me. I had to contact the EEOC and state my case with them before giving me approval to sue in federal court.

I have been attending to this case myself pro se (representing myself) for most of the duration of this case. Thus far I have spent 6,000 dollars with lawyer and court costs. I have submitted discovery (evidence) to the court and defendant. I also replied to their motion to dismiss, in which I have a hearing about. I also filed my own motion for summary judgement (judge rules on the case).

Both myself, the plaintiff and the defense can appeal any decisions for dismissal or summary judgement to a higher court. I am asking for support for my legal fees in the sum of 25,000. If I have to appeal either the motion to dismiss or summary judgment, I will have to pay court cost and attorney fees to the defendant. I have 5,000 in the bank and will have to resort to my credit card for any excess. It could range conservatively between 10,000-15,000 to appeal. I will also be seeking to retain legal counsel to help me with the burden of legal processes. I intend to document all costs by receipt and pay back everything I have borrowed.

I will be creating a legal foundation for others that were injured or lost their jobs due to forceful Coronavirus vaccination requirements.
