My washer died for the second time in 3 years. The extended warranty just ran out on the parts I used to fix it last time.  A new dryer is also needed because the one I have is the same Maytag Neptune I've had since 2001 that is harder and harder to keep running as parts are dwindling. I want to go with American appliances like a speed queen. The cheapest new set are over $4,000 for both. My mom is sick, my stepdad is retired and I'm working at Walmart, but also recovering from the flu.
