Our story is now a story of helping others.

Living a life without Jesus Christ guiding us is not truly life at all. It is a life filled with struggle, hopelessness, and despair.

Jake and Leona were among those who knew this firsthand. Growing up in different parts of Montana, they lived in separate Hutterite communities. Even today, most Hutterites, who consider themselves Christians, do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Their faith is guided and controlled by community Elders, Preachers, and Teachers, often placed above family authority. These leaders meet every need—food, clothing, and spiritual guidance—keeping members separate from the world with strict rules that are constantly updated to maintain control.

In these communities, personal liberty is minimal. Members are bound by customs and ordinances passed down through generations; they face excommunication if they do not adhere. Apostasy—( as they see it) turning to Jesus Christ—is rarely tolerated. 

Today, we thank God because He is the true author of our story, not the community or its leaders. Our testimony is a miraculous story of redemption, grace, and the unbreakable love of Jesus Christ. While many Hutterites disavow our story, we stand as proof of God's transformative power.

More and more, Hutterite Christians are persecuted for their faith. They often have nowhere to turn but to leave their communities. This account is a call for believers to help these families start anew.

These families need fresh beginnings—new freedoms and opportunities to heal from years of spiritual suppression and demonic oppression. God created us in His image to know our worth through His love. This love renews us and sustains our purpose: to live for Jesus Christ, who died, was buried, and rose again.

Through this GiveSendGo/GoFundMe campaign, we aim to provide resources for those leaving Hutterite communities—help with moving costs, start-up vehicles, and basic needs like furniture and appliances. These families have lost access to their lifelong resources and face a new, challenging environment. Yet, God's provision is evident as they find work quickly, purchase furniture, and even renew their driver’s licenses.

Most importantly, ongoing discipleship and friendship are vital for their new beginning. We have witnessed how swiftly they adapt, how God’s hand provides, and how families begin to stand on their own.
