My name is Denishea, and I am a certified STNA and the founder of Dee’s Given Knowledge LLC (DGK) — a small but growing in-home care service built from compassion, lived experience, and a deep calling to serve others.

My journey into healthcare didn’t come from comfort. It came from overcoming obstacles, learning hard lessons, and choosing to become the opposite of what I experienced in life. Where I saw gaps in care, I became care. Where I saw people overlooked, I made it my mission to see them. Where I saw families struggle alone, I stepped in to help.

That’s how Dee’s Given Knowledge was born.

Right now, I provide private duty care to seniors and individuals who need help with daily living in the comfort of their homes. I’ve been blessed to build trust with families who rely on me every day. But I see a bigger need — families who can’t afford private pay but still deserve the same dignity, comfort, and quality care.

That’s why I am working to expand DGK into a Medicaid and Medicare Waiver provider, so I can serve those who depend on state-funded assistance and often struggle to find reliable caregivers.

This expansion requires:

1. State certification and compliance
2. Business insurance and bonding
3. Hiring additional certified caregivers
4. Administrative setup for Medicaid billing and documentation

I am not asking for someone to build this for me. I’ve already started. I’m asking for a push to help me get there faster so I can reach more families sooner.
