For more than 36 years, the Jesus Menino Catholic Community in Petrópolis, Brazil, has been a place of hope for children who had nowhere else to go.

Many were abandoned at birth. Some survived abortion attempts. Others were left behind because they were born with severe disabilities or complex medical conditions that their families were unable to care for.

Today, 46 children and adults with special needs live in our family-style homes. Here, they are not treated as patients or numbers—they are cherished members of a loving family.

Every day they receive nutritious meals, medical care, physical and occupational therapy, education, emotional support, and the love every human being deserves. Most importantly, they discover that their lives have value and that they are deeply loved.

One of the most precious places in our Community is the Little Ones' House, where our youngest and most vulnerable children are cared for around the clock.

After decades of continuous use, the house has deteriorated and urgently needs renovation. Without these improvements, it becomes increasingly difficult to provide the safe, healthy, and welcoming environment these children need to grow, heal, and thrive.

Your generosity will help transform this home by providing:

• A safe, modern, and hygienic kitchen where daily meals can be prepared with dignity.

• A properly equipped laundry room to maintain the hygiene that medically fragile children require.

• Safe therapy and recreation spaces where children can learn, play, and develop.

• Community areas where birthdays, holidays, and moments of joy can be shared as a family.

• Improved accessibility and infrastructure for children with physical disabilities.

• Better conditions for the caregivers who lovingly dedicate their lives to serving these children every single day.

Our goal is to raise US$60,000 to complete this essential renovation.
