Hey everyone. I’m Fredrick’s aunt Randi, and I’m writing this on behalf of his mom, Britnie, who is right now riding one of those journeys no parent ever chooses and no family is ever ready for.

Britnie’s little fighter, Fredrick, was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-cell ALL). Since that day, life has been an emotional whirlwind for them. What once felt like a normal, happy routine has turned into hospital stays, constant treatments, and a long road ahead. They are only 6 months into what doctors expect to be a 2.5 year battle, and already it has been overwhelming.

Every day is a fight for Fredrick — through chemo, deep physical pain, and exhausting days where just getting through is a victory. Because Fred is severely immunocompromised, Britnie had to step away from her career as a childcare provider to protect his health and to be present for the endless appointments and the hard days when he only wants his mom by his side. It was not an easy choice, but it was a necessary one.

Even in the middle of all this, Fredrick continues to show incredible strength and courage. He is truly remarkable. Britnie is carrying this as a single mother — caregiver, comforter, advocate, and steady anchor — and the weight of it all is heavy.

Financially, things have become very tight. Medical needs, daily living expenses, and lost income have created a difficult situation. The reality is that bills continue even when a child is fighting cancer. The goal is to raise $8000 to help ease the pressure so Britnie can focus on what matters most — being fully present for Fredrick and his recovery.
