Support Foster Dog's Veterinary Bills

Fawn was pulled from the euthanasia list at the county shelter because someone believed she deserved a chance. After a few failed placements, she came to me as a foster, carrying ticks and more instability than any dog should have to endure.

She blossomed. Her behavior improved dramatically and she became the gentle, sweet girl she was always meant to be. Fawn has since been adopted into a loving forever home.

But her road to recovery was not cheap. While in my care, Fawn tested positive for a tick-borne illness. She was lethargic, not eating, and needed urgent treatment. Vet bills exceeded $3,000, which I covered out of pocket because I refused to let her down after everything she had survived. The rescue organization, already stretched thin, was unable to help.

Fawn made it. But fostering her has left me with a significant financial burden, and without help recovering these costs, I will not be able to open my home to the next dog on the euthanasia list.

"A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal." Proverbs 12:10

If Fawn's story moves you, please consider a donation. Every dollar goes toward the vet bills already paid on her behalf and makes it possible to save the next dog. Please give what you can and share her story.
