Make Masks Optional

The governor of the state of Hawaii has ended mandatory indoor masking as of March 26, 2022 and has declared that the Covid-19 emergency is over. The CDC has has also stated it is now safe to unmask the children in our schools, yet the Department of Education is enforcing continued masking upon our school children, with very few exceptions.

Children continue to experience disproportionate restrictions, struggle with unprecedented challenges to social-emotional learning, and the costs are mounting. Shifting to a mask optional culture will enable focused protection while encouraging the success of our children.

Indefinite long term masking of the lowest risk demographic in our population has created an epidemic of mental health challenges that we are now only beginning to face.

As the voices of parents, healthcare professionals and concerned citizens continue to be ignored, For Our Rights is poised to take legal action to remedy the situation. We believe it is the responsibility of the parents to decide what is best for their child's health and that the Department of Education does not have the legal authority to override that right.

Please donate to the legal fund so we can finally put the power back in the hands of the people.

Disclaimer:  For Our Rights reserves the right to use funds received over and above the budget of the solicited purpose. If the Hawaii Department of Education updates their policy, obviating the need for a lawsuit the funds solicited through this campaign will be put into the general fund for operating expenses and/or

Aloha Freedom Fighters,

Thank you all so much for helping to make this happen. We have raised enough money to get started! Our team is currently drafting our lawsuit against the DOE in order to call for an emergency injunction and immediate STOP to the continued masking of our keiki. We are hopeful that we will be able to get this filed and heard in time to prevent our graduates from being forced to cover their smiles on graduation day. Your continued support of this campaign is so important. We will need to continue to raise funds in order to see this through. Thank you so much for donating and for continuing to share our mission with others through email and all of your social media accounts. Mahalo and God bless!!
