Forklift for Literature 4 Africa

Over the last 40 years, Frontline Fellowship has delivered and distributed over 800,000 Bibles and New Testaments in 100 languages throughout Africa. World Missionary Press has provided over 7,800,000 Gospel booklets which we have distributed as far as Sudan, Congo and Nigeria.

Every year our Literature4Africa ministry distributes an average of 100 tons of Bibles, New Testaments, library and Theological books, Sunday school materials, Bible studies, Gospel booklets tracts and audio visual materials, completely free.

We are particularly grateful for ministries who collect Bibles and books from churches, publishers and individuals and gather Bibles not being used in their church, or area. We regularly receive 20 foot, 17 tonne containers filled with precious Scriptural resources, which we ensure our carefully, prayerfully and strategically distributed to those who most need, will best appreciate and most effectively use and apply the Word of God to all areas of life. There is a tremendous hunger for Bibles and Bible teaching throughout Africa. There are over 500 million people who identify Christians in Africa. According to Operation World more than 100 million churchgoers in Africa do not yet have of a Bible or even a New Testament.

Struggling to offload tonnes of boxes and packages by hand is a challenge. We call it Frontline Gym. However a forklift would simplify and speed up the process of offloading, categorising, designating and shipping these precious resources to where they are most needed.

When we have had to hire a forklift, which is essential with some shipments which are palletised, or need to prepare shipments which need to be palletised for loading on 30 ton carrying capacity trucks, there are often delays and complications. Forklift hiring and transportation costs are high. It would be such a blessing for Literature 4 Africa to have its own Forklift and rather invest in more Bibles in indigenous languages and Audio Bibles to send to the Nuba Mountains in Sudan, and other Missions and projects.

"The Lord gave the Word; great was the company that published it." Psalm 68:11
