My name is Shelly, and I'm here to share a deeply personal piece of our journey. As a homeschool mom to six amazing kids aged from 10 months to 16 years old, life has been nothing short of challenging these past few years. We've faced one setback after another: family losses, car troubles, and even the furnace deciding it had enough in winter!

My husband and I are prior military and reached out to the VA for support with our mortgage—but they have turned us away, leaving us feeling helpless. We've been actively seeking jobs since he was laid off back in May, but so far, no luck. As you can imagine, times are tough, and we find ourselves at a crossroads where every option has been exhausted.

It's in these darkest hours that community truly shines through—and that brings me to you. 🙏
