This beautiful family has suffered tremendous tradegy and loss. A horrific fire broke out in the home around 1am on January 7, 2016.  Rhonda and Adam lost their lives , Albert and Gracie were flown to Pittsburgh and remain there for medical treatment. The other children escaped without injuries. Please be in prayer and If you choose to help financially, donations are being accepted to help with medical, travel and any other expenses that this family  may incur in the days and weeks ahead.

Updates will be posted as the family shares them with me.

Dear concerned friends and family, like many of you, when I received this tragic news yesterday I was shocked and wanted to do whatever I could to help this family and their loved ones.  I feel that it is necessary for me to tell you who I am and how I know them so that you are comfortable with donating. My name is Judi Daughenbaugh Tackett and I was born and raised in Ridgway.  My parents owned the Summit on Boot Jack and were neighbors to the Klines for many years.  Rhonda babysat my son for several years and her entire family always treated him as family.  Our families have been friends for many years.

I have been in constant contact with the family and requested permission to begin this campaign and made arrangements for them to have access to these funds immediately.

I will be posting updates and other opportunities to help on this campaign as they are shared with me.  The family wishes to express their gratitude for your overwhelming response and generosity.

Don't forget vendors, this is not mandatory, but we are asking for you to donate something to the Chinese Auction witch the money will be donated to the Kline-Cherry-Wall family that suffered in the fire this past week. There is no limit of what you donate, but the more we get the more money that goes to the family. So, please think about bringing something, anything, to the show! Everything is very much appreciated! Also, any baking goods, cookies, hot chocolate, will be greatly appreciated as well. I would love to have that available for the public as well since it is usually cold that time of year. (hopefully not) Praying for a wonderful outcome!

Elk County Catholic School System
1 hr · The members of the ECC community would like to take this time to extend our heartfelt condolences to the Kline-Wall-Cherry family following the tragedy they recently endured. We pray that God blesses and comforts them during this unimaginable time.

Our friends at St. Marys Area have relayed to us that the following actions will be taken at both the boys' and girls' basketball games this weekend (the Crusaders will travel across town on Friday night and the Lady Crusaders on Saturday night):

Admission will be free to all patrons. A collection box will be set up at the front table to accept donations that will be given to the Kline-Wall-Cherry family at a later date.

Prior to the games, a moment of silence will be held. Collection boxes will also be available during and immediately following the games for anyone wishing to make a donation to the family.

Just heard that tonight's boys' basketball game and tomorrow's girls' game vs ECC will be benefitting the family affected by the house fire...tickets sales are to be waived and replaced with a donation request...In addition Don's pizza has donated pizza sales along with the Booster organizations...the girls' team will definitely be a presence at these events in support of their teammate Jenna Cherry and they are looking forward to getting her back on the court soon! The girls said "family sticks together" and everyone from her basketball family and school family are rallying in support...may both schools this weekend come together as a great community to show their support as well!
