A friend of mine who was like a father to me growing up lost his parents and was unable to keep their family land. He has had some struggles and recently went through a divorce and is sleeping on his daughter's couch when home from driving a semi over the road. He is trying to raise enough money to purchase his childhood home back from the current owner. He has saved up a little but is still short.
