Emmanuel Church is a gospel focused family of Christians in the North West of England it was re-planted in 2022 by the Reverend Brett Murphy and his wife Katerina with a bold vision to plant a church that will play a pivotal role in winning the UK for Christ!

Since then, the little church by the bay has flourished and grown, drawing in many Christians desperate for a biblical church home and bringing seekers to Christ for the first time, becoming a gospel force for the Kingdom of God! Even in the midst of adversity and relentless attacks from the evil one, our church has held the line and refused to budge on our orthodox Christian beliefs. Emmanuel is rare among churches in the UK, we have not capitulated to the woke lies of modern secular culture, instead founding our congregation on the word of God! 

Emmanuel is unashamedly:

• Anglican using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer
• Gospel Focused
• Traditional and conservative in theology and morality
• Biblically faithful, holding to a plain reading of scripture and obedience to the bible
• Pro-life, promoting cherishing life from conception until natural death
  

Now this lighthouse of Christ in the darkness needs your support, will you partner with us as generous donors from around the world to help the Kingdom grow in England? Despite our limitations, since our church was planted we have stepped out in faith, trusting God to provide for our needs, we work tirelessly for the gospel in Morecambe and beyond. Here is some of the work we do for the Lord:

• Our church runs a weekly community cafe with free food for anyone who walks through our doors.
• We operate a food bank for the homeless and low-income families.
• A pro-life pregnancy bank to support mums who want to choose life and keep their babies, offering free baby items, nappies, formula, etc.
• A charity shop with low-cost, quality second-hand goods to help people in need.
• Street preaching, outreach campaigns, leaflet drops and evangelism training.
• In winter, we are a registered warm space for the community, welcoming the homeless and many who cannot afford to heat their homes.
• Weekly bible study group focused on a plain and traditional reading of scripture.
• Men's fellowship weekly, promoting muscular Christianity and the place of men as heads of their households.
• Ladies' craft and women's fellowship every week. 

Our expenses are fairly simple: the salary of our minister, food supplies for our cafe and foodbank, utility bills and vital repairs and renovations to our crumbling Victorian building. With your generous and ongoing support, we can continue and expand our ongoing mission/ministry in line with our vision to reach England for Christ, as well as renovate our building to make it fit for purpose to serve the Lord in the long term. We are not eligible for many grants because of our conservative Christian views, so we rely upon support from fellow Christians around the world. Thank you for partnering with us!
