Emergency for rent

I’m looking for help due to me living with somebody and I thought they took care of the rent when i gave them my half, they lied to me and left me owing double the rent, I recently lost my job and i’m trying to pick my self up but I don’t want lose to my apartment, i have my cats here and i just wouldn’t have nowhere to go. I am please begging for everybody’s help.
