Dear friends and family,

When I moved to Madison, Wisconsin for graduate school, I had no idea how much God would use this season of learning and opportunity to shape my life. What I originally thought was a step toward a career in education became something far more meaningful. Over the last six years, God has created space for healing, spiritual growth, and deeper trust in him. My community became one of the clearest embodiments of his love and faithfulness!! 

About two years ago, I felt the Lord whisper, “Pack your bags.” I did not know what it meant, and to be honest, I did not feel ready for a big move. Since then, God has been gently nudging me to hold my plans loosely and trust him with the timing! I am excited to share that God has prepared me to enter a new season.

Beginning this fall, I will be attending the Visual Arts Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM Boston! YWAM also known as Youth With A Mission is a global christian missions organization operating in over 180 countries. It is a hands on training and outreach movement that empowers individuals to serve through evangelism, education, arts, healthcare, and lots more! The DTS programs combines in-depth spiritual training with real world application.

The program I will be participating in invites individuals to walk closer with God while using artistic gifts to communicate his love in impactful ways! The first portion of the program takes place in Boston, Massachusetts, followed by an outreach phase during which students will serve through creative ministry. The first six weeks of the outreach phase will be in the U.S. and the last two weeks will take place in El Salvador. All together the program will last six months. 

In order to step into this next chapter with YWAM I’m trusting the Lord to provide around $12,000 to cover tuition, housing, travel, and outreach expenses. If you would prayerfully consider coming alongside me whether through a one time gift or ongoing monthly support, I would be deeply grateful. But more than any financial gift, your prayers are the greatest support I could ask for!
