Campaign Created by: Christine Farinelli

The funds from this campaign will be received by Tricia Birdwell.

Goal: USD $125,000
Raised: USD $ 14,160

Dear friends, family, and compassionate individuals,

We come together today to support an incredible woman, Dr. Tricia Birdwell, who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. As she embarks on a challenging journey to overcome this disease, we are determined to alleviate some of the financial burdens she and her loving family face during this difficult time.

Dr. Tricia Birdwell is not only a dedicated physician but also a devoted wife and mother of two beautiful children. Her passion for caring for others has touched the lives of many, and now it is our turn to show our gratitude and support.

To give Dr. Birdwell the best chance at a full recovery, she will be traveling to Arizona for aggressive treatment. This comprehensive approach requires extensive medical care, including surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and various supportive therapies. While she focuses on regaining her health, we want to ensure that she can fully concentrate on her treatment without worrying about the financial implications.

We kindly ask for your generous contribution to help cover the expenses associated with Dr. Birdwell's journey through treatment. These funds will provide crucial support for medical bills, travel expenses, accommodation, childcare, and any unforeseen costs that may arise along the way.

Every dollar counts, and your support can make a significant difference in Dr. Birdwell's fight against breast cancer. By coming together as a community, we can show our unwavering support, letting Dr. Birdwell know that she is not alone on this journey.

Please donate whatever amount you can, whether it's a small contribution or a larger gift. Your generosity will not only alleviate the financial strain on the Birdwell family but also provide them with the emotional support they need during this challenging time.

We also ask that you share this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks, spreading awareness and encouraging others to join our cause. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and help Dr. Birdwell focus on her recovery and the joyous moments that lie ahead for her and her family.

Let's rally around Dr. Tricia Birdwell, uplifting her with love, prayers, and financial assistance. Your support can be the beacon of hope she needs as she battles breast cancer. Thank you for being a part of this vital campaign and for making a difference in the life of someone who has dedicated her life to caring for others.

Please keep Dr. Birdwell, her family, and all those affected by breast cancer in your thoughts and prayers. Together, we can make a positive impact and support Dr. Birdwell's journey towards a cancer-free future.

Note: All funds raised will be directly allocated to Dr. Tricia Birdwell's medical and related expenses.

I have completed my 7 weeks in the AZ cancer center and have seen at least a 60% decrease in cancer size/burden. I made it home and will be continuing specific therapies and medications with the goal of eliminating the cancer altogether. It is a journey.

I cannot express how much your prayers, support and generosity has meant to my family and I. It has helped me focus on healing.

I ask for continued prayers as I find my new routine at home with this new perspective on life. I deeply appreciate each and every one of you!

Sincerely, Tricia Birdwell

From Quentin:

Here's the latest update from Tricia's journey through her cancer treatment, and some additional information for everybody. Tricia has "invasive lobular" cancer, and it has spread to the lymph nodes. The treatment center she is being treated at is in Arizona, and she started there on July 5th. The treatment is about 6-8 weeks, but could vary based on how she responds to the program. There are some very knowledgeable doctors here who are trying some "outside the box" therapies, in addition to chemo. They will be testing her weekly to see how she's progressing and we'll update everyone as we get more information. The medical director met with Tricia and spent an hour going over her test results and letting her ask questions. They seem to be very caring people, and we feel grateful that she is getting treatment here.

Everybody has been overwhelmingly supportive, and Tricia's family has been unbelievable in helping with the kids and house while we're gone. Tricia has several people coming out to visit her while she's in treatment, and it means more than they know...

We want to thank Christine for setting up the GiveSendGo for Tricia and for helping her get through this. Tricia does not have traditional insurance but has a Christian sharing plan that is very unfavorable for her treatment needs. They are likely to pay little of the costs. There are many expenses given the distance, decreased income, etc.

We'll keep everyone updated as we learn more and the treatment progresses. Just know we love you all and are grateful beyond what you can imagine for your prayers and support.
